The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the village, just a short walk down the street from the lake. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the verdant hills. the staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the breakfast options are plentiful and delicious, offering a full Irish breakfast or personalized variations. the hotel also has a cozy bar with live entertainment, perfect for relaxing in the winter months.
The terrace could use some improvement, as the paint is peeling in some spots.

As a bigger group of friends, we loved the spacious and comfortable rooms. The friendly and helpful staff, including Eddie and Kyla, made us feel welcome and provided great service. The restaurant was fabulous, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with feathered cotton duvets. Having a balcony was a great bonus, allowing us to enjoy the occasional cigarette without breaking any rules.
Felt very much at home, no complaints.

The food at the hotel was absolutely amazing. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. the portions were generous, and the service was attentive and friendly. the atmosphere in the bar area was also very welcoming, with live trad music and a cozy feel. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink after a long day.
That the room was a bit chilly. Despite the comfortable bed and spacious layout, we found ourselves needing an extra blanket to stay warm at night.

The hotel offered great value for money with affordable room rates that included breakfast. The location was ideal, situated in a quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The food in the hotel was excellent, with a wide selection of options on the menu and attentive service.
There were a few issues that were not up to par. The room was initially cold and we had to ask for the heating to be turned on.

Incredible Hill Walking Experience: I ventured out on the Maamturks and felt like I was conquering the Connemara mountains with each step. The stunning natural surroundings and open space made me feel like I was hiking through a magical landscape. It was like walking in a fairytale, but with sturdy hiking boots instead of glass slippers.
Breakfast Seasoning: Lack of seasoning in the full Irish and vegetarian options left a bit to be desired.

Visiting from Scotland, this was the perfect location for touring the local area. Finished off both evenings with excellent food and drink all served by wonderful staff and chat with Eddie. Pet friendly and needless to say 'Buster' loved his stay too!!! Would definitely recommend for a hearty welcome and great service, hope to re-visit again.
Totally recommend this hotel.
